Who is the Profit to Paycheck

Intensive For?

Girl, I see you. Come here for a minute, let’s talk.

You left that corporate life behind because you knew you were made for more. The 9-to-5 grind wasn’t cutting it—you wanted freedom, flexibility, and the ability to build something on your terms. Now, you’re running your business like a boss, but deep down, something isn’t adding up. The money’s coming in, but somehow, it doesn’t feel like enough. You’re not paying yourself what you’re worth, and that inconsistency? It’s making everything feel heavier than it should.

You’re out here doing this solo—no partner, no kids—just you, your dreams, and your hustle. Everything depends on you, and girl, I get it. That weight? It’s real. You’re pulling in $250k, maybe even close to a million, but you’re still wondering, “Am I doing enough? Am I making enough?”

Here’s the thing—I know you.

  • You left corporate because you wanted freedom, but you find yourself working just as hard (if not harder) now, and you’re starting to wonder if this is what you really signed up for.

  • You love luxury, experiences, and the finer things in life—5-star hotels, flying business class, indulging in personal development, and showing up for your family like the badass aunty you are. But lately, the numbers aren’t adding up, and that’s keeping you from fully enjoying what you’ve built.

  • You’ve been running your business for at least three years now. You’re smart—you hire contractors where needed, but you’re not about that big team life. You don’t want to manage people—you want to manage your freedom.

  • You went to college, you’re educated, and you’ve done the work, but this transition from corporate paychecks to business income? It’s been harder than you expected. And right now, you’re carrying the financial weight of your business and your life, and that’s a lot for anyone to handle.

Sound like you? Then sis, you’re exactly where you need to be.

Is This You?

You’re not new to this—you’ve been building your business for at least three years, and you’ve learned a lot along the way. But when it comes to finances, it still feels unclear. You’re ready to master this next stage, make more intentional decisions, and ensure your business is not just surviving but thriving—and paying you well.

You’ve poured so much into your business, serving your clients with care and delivering excellence. But now, it’s time for your business to serve you. You want to wake up knowing that the hard work you’ve put in is creating real financial security for your future, not just your clients’ success.

You’ve got the basics in place—working with a bookkeeper, using QuickBooks—but now it’s time to move beyond the surface and use that data to make decisions that elevate your life. It’s about being strategic, not reactive, so every dollar you make works toward the life you want.

You’ve also reached a point where you need space—space to think, space to breathe, and the confidence that your business can support you without draining you. You’re ready to commit for 90 days, ready to create a financial system that lets you focus on what you love while feeling secure that everything else is handled. You’re ready for real change.

What You’re Walking

Away With

What makes the Profit to Paycheck Intensive different is that it’s not just about planning. Sure, we’ll start with a plan because that’s the foundation—but that’s just step one. Real change happens when we dig deeper and work on adjusting your beliefs, behaviors, and habits around money. It’s not enough to know what to do—you need to actually shift how you think about and manage your money day-to-day.

You’ve been carrying the weight of your business finances for too long, trying to figure it all out. In this intensive, we’ll not only create a plan that fits your business and life, but we’ll also get into those patterns that keep holding you back. It’s about more than just a roadmap—it’s about making sure you can live it. We’ll tackle the avoidance, procrastination, and self-doubt that have been keeping you stuck and replace them with habits that build confidence and consistency.

When we’re done, you’ll have:

  • Your own Paycheck Playbook designed specifically for your business, helping you manage inconsistent income, build a consistent pay system, and align your business success with your personal wealth goals.

  • A personalized compensation plan that pays you what you deserve, while handling your bills, savings, and long-term investments—so you’re not left guessing how much to pay yourself each month.

  • A profit strategy that doesn’t just grow your business but grows your personal wealth. You’ll know how to use your profits to build something bigger than just next month’s revenue.

  • Confidence in your revenue streams and a clear understanding of what drives income in your business, so you can consistently bring in revenue without the stress.

  • The peace of mind that comes from having a solid financial roadmap and the habits to maintain it. This isn’t just a one-time fix—it’s a system you’ll use long term, with the mindset shifts to keep it going.

This isn’t about quick fixes or cookie-cutter solutions. We’ll get deep into what’s been holding you back—whether it’s your mindset, your habits, or the systems you’ve been using. Planning is just the beginning. We’ll work together to change how you think about money and how you manage it, so you can finally feel in control of your business and your future.

Hi, I’m Ashley

Hello beautiful people, I’m Ashley Harlan, your CFO and financial strategist for women of color solopreneurs. My mission is simple: to help you take control of both your business and personal finances, so you can build real wealth without the stress.

But let me take you back to how this all started...

I was climbing the corporate ladder, collecting steady paychecks, thinking I had everything figured out. I had my 401(k), health insurance, and that bi-weekly paycheck hitting my account like clockwork. Life felt secure—until it didn’t.

One day, I got laid off from my Fortune 500 job. Suddenly, that steady paycheck I relied on was gone. It was a moment that shook me, but also pushed me toward something greater. That layoff was the wake-up call I needed to take control of my own financial future.

I quickly realized that running my own business wasn’t just about the hustle—it was about managing both business money and personal finances together. Because here’s the truth: if your business isn’t making money, neither are you. And that pressure? It’s real. Your business’s financial success directly impacts your personal wealth. And if your personal finances are out of order, it puts extra weight on your business to succeed.

Over the years, working as a CFO for multi-six figure businesses, I saw a huge gap in how solopreneurs—especially women of color—manage their finances. Too often, we’re told to keep our business and personal money separate. But for lifestyle business owners like us, those two worlds are deeply connected.

That’s why I help my clients create financial plans that are practical, clear, and tailored to their unique needs. I’m not here to sell you a quick fix. I’m here to help you build systems that bring clarity, structure, and accountability to both your business and personal finances. Together, we’ll create a change plan to help you shift the beliefs, behaviors, and habits that could be holding you back from true financial freedom.

So, if you’re ready to get serious about making real changes and building a business that works for you, I’m here to guide you every step of the way.
